For Class A fires (wood, paper), the agent melts at around 175°C (350°F), forming a protective layer that isolates oxygen in the air and prevents re-ignition. For electrical fires, the agent’s non-conductivity ensures safe use on energized electrical equipment.

The extinguishing agent undergoes fluidization and siliconization treatments to improve its flow properties, ensuring consistent discharge. Tested under ASTM E119 and ASTM D4956, it guarantees effective performance in critical conditions.

Built with precision-welded ST12 high-strength steel and charged with nitrogen propellant, Poseidon’s ABC or multi-purpose extinguisher operates at 14 bar (203 psi) with a test capacity of 27 bar (400 psi), maintaining stable pressure during use. It provides a typical discharge range of 4-6 meters (13-20 feet) with a discharge time of 8-20 seconds, depending on the extinguisher size, ensuring effective coverage.
