PSSWH-109 Swift Water Rescue Boots
$ 38.90
The PSSWH-109 Swift Water Rescue Boots are purpose-engineered for professional rescue teams operating in water rescue missions including swift-water, flood, and boat-deck operations. Built to the performance intent of NFPA 1952 (surface water operations footwear) and aligned with the safety standards in GA 628-2013 and selected elements of ISO 20345 S5, PSSWH-109 is not third-party certified but is designed and tested to equivalent benchmarks.
Developed from field feedback in flood deployments and boat operations, the PSSWH-109 integrates insulation, traction, and cut/puncture protection for unpredictable, cold, and debris-laden water. The upper uses abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber to withstand contact with rocks, rebar, and deck hardware while providing structural ankle support. Inside, a ≥ 5 mm (≈ 0.20 in) dive-grade neoprene liner pairs with a ≥ 7 mm (≈ 0.28 in) neoprene insole to slow conductive heat loss and mitigate cold-water shock during extended exposure.
The sole unit is validated for 100,000 flex cycles without structural failure (crack length ≤ 9 mm), maintaining platform stability under repeated bending and torsion. Dual-zone puncture protection delivers ≥ 1.9 kN (≈ 427 lbf) resistance through the outsole and ≥ 145 N (≈ 32.6 lbf) in the shaft to guard against submerged glass, nails, and metallic fragments. For traction on wet, inclined, or irregular surfaces, the tread achieves a start-to-slip angle ≥ 25° using an inclined-plane method, supporting secure footing on slick decks and uneven riverbeds.
Operational efficiency is enhanced by an ankle support closure that locks the fit and a rear webbing pull tab for rapid don/doff—critical when moving from banks to boats and back. Total mass is kept at ≤ 1.3 kg per pair (≈ 2.87 lb) to reduce fatigue over long operational periods, making PSSWH-109 swift water rescue boots a trusted choice for demanding rescue team operations.
- Cold-Water Insulation – Dive-grade neoprene liner + insole mitigate heat loss in extended water rescue operations.
- Dual-Zone Puncture Protection – Outsole and shaft reinforced to block submerged hazards.
- Marine-Tuned Traction – Ramp angle ≥ 25° for wet decks and irregular riverbeds.
- Durability Under Flex – 100,000 cycles with no structural failure for long service life.
- Rapid Don/Doff – Ankle support closure + rear pull tab for efficient rescue boots deployment.
- Swift water rescue boots for professional rescue teams
- Flood response in urban and WUI settings
- Boat deck/dock operations and shallow-water search
- Cold-water water rescue training and drills
