The PSSFB-141B Leather Structural Fire Boots combine flame-retardant full-grain cow leather, a heat-resistant rubber outsole, an aluminum toecap, and a composite puncture-resistant midsole for firefighting and rescue footwear selection.
The listed height is 340 mm (approximately 13.4 in). A lock-buckle collar and BOA quick-release system provide fit adjustment and rapid donning and removal.
The PSSFB-141B is engineered for professional firefighting and heavy-duty industrial rescue work. The upper is crafted from flame-retardant full-grain cow leather, stitched with heat-resistant aramid thread to maintain integrity under extreme thermal and mechanical stress. The outsole uses heat-resistant rubber compound designed to maintain grip and flexibility after prolonged exposure to high surface temperatures.
The PSSFB-141B uses an aluminum toecap for toe-area impact and compression protection under ASTM F2413-18. Beneath the foot, a composite puncture-resistant midsole rated ≥ 2237 N (≈ 500 lbf) provides tested puncture resistance against sharp debris.
The waterproof barrier has a stated 4-hour immersion test at 25 mm (1 in.) above outsole level, under that test condition. The slip-resistant outsole delivers a coefficient of friction ≥ 0.35 on wet or oily surfaces, under the stated test conditions; traction also depends on the surface and contamination.
Each pair of leather structure fire boot endures ≥ 10 000 flex cycles with no cracks or delamination. ASTM F2413 EH is supplementary electrical-hazard protection under dry conditions; waterproof construction does not establish safe live-wire contact or electrical protection in wet environments. The boots resist radiant heat up to 20 kW/m² and exposure to common firefighting chemicals such as oils, foams, and fuels.
Comfort and serviceability are supported by replaceable cushioned insoles, breathable moisture-wicking lining, and corrosion-resistant components.
