Technical Rescue Fire Helmet

The Poseidon Technical Rescue Fire Helmet is a professional-grade protective system engineered for technical rescue, industrial firefighting, and emergency response under extreme conditions.
Designed and tested in accordance with EN 16473 (technical rescue performance) and EN 14458 / EN 166 (eye and face protection), the helmet provides advanced thermal, mechanical, and optical protection.
Its flame-resistant PC/ABS composite shell and aluminized aramid neck shroud ensure superior safety in confined, high-radiant-heat environments such as structural collapses, chemical incidents, and rescue missions.

Built with high-strength PC/ABS alloy through precision injection molding, the helmet withstands impact energy up to 49 J (top) and 29 J (side) with a peak transmitted force ≤ 5 kN, conforming to EN 16473 impact criteria.
The aluminized aramid/glass-fiber neck shroud resists radiant heat exposure up to 14 kW/m² and brief molten splash contact (tested per EN ISO 9185), protecting against radiant heat, flame, and debris.

A flame-resistant polycarbonate (PC) visor with optical class 1 clarity (EN 166 1 B K N) and a metal-coated face shield (EN 14458 3 H) provide high optical definition and full-face protection.
The helmet’s total weight of 1295 ± 50 g (2.85 ± 0.11 lb) and adjustable head circumference of 51–64 cm (20.1–25.2 in) ensure comfort for prolonged missions.
An ergonomic internal ratchet headband, anti-shock padding, and automatic-release chinstrap prevent secondary injuries during high-impact incidents.

Optional integrated features include a gold-plated anti-radiation visor layer, lamp rail and flashlight interface, and communication device mounts for mission-specific adaptability.

  • Thermal and Impact Protection – PC/ABS shell resists top impact 49 J / side 29 J (≤ 5 kN peak force). Aluminized aramid neck shroud tested per EN ISO 9185 for molten splash protection.

  • Enhanced Visual Clarity – PC visor and face shield certified to EN 166 1 B K N / EN 14458 3 H, offering 160° panoramic visibility and anti-fog, anti-scratch performance.

  • Lightweight Ergonomic Build – At only 1295 g (2.85 lb), balanced design minimizes fatigue; head size adjustable 51–64 cm (20.1–25.2 in).

  • Electrical & Radiant Resistance – Optional ANSI Z89.1 Class E configuration (20 kV dielectric test) and reflective outer plating for radiant heat deflection.

  • Modular Design – Detachable visor, chinstrap, inner liner, and accessories (headlamp, comms, shield) for easy servicing and customization.

  • High Visibility & Identification – Available in red, yellow, or green with reflective striping and optional logo customization for team identity.

  • Technical & Urban Rescue – Suitable for confined spaces, tunnel, and structural-collapse operations requiring full-face protection.

  • Industrial Fire and Chemical Response – Protects from mechanical impact, radiant heat, and liquid splash; compatible with chemical suits and respirators.

  • Wildland and Outdoor Operations (variant) – Lightweight version meeting EN 16471 available for extended field deployment.

  • Emergency & Utility Work – Provides reliable protection for electrical utilities, mining, and disaster recovery teams.
(For interior structural firefighting per EN 443 or NFPA 1971, Poseidon offers a dedicated structural helmet variant.)
