Poseidon supplies concealed fire sprinkler heads with matched decorative cover plate options for ceiling installations. Available material options include brass, zinc alloy, and stainless steel, with white, chrome, brass, or custom finish options for the selected configuration.
For bulk or OEM sourcing, select the sprinkler and cover plate together. Specify the model, K-factor, temperature rating, response classification, connection thread, working pressure, finish, and required listing or approval. A concealed sprinkler uses a cover plate to hide the assembly; a recessed sprinkler uses an escutcheon with the sprinkler still visible.

A concealed pendent sprinkler sits behind a decorative cover plate. Heat releases the plate at its specified release rating, allowing the assembly to operate as designed. The sprinkler thermal element then operates at its own rated temperature. The cover plate and sprinkler ratings are separate and must be matched for the exact assembly.
Temperature and response: Available glass-bulb options include 3 mm and 5 mm diameters. Select the documented response classification for the model; bulb diameter does not define a guaranteed activation time in service. Common nominal temperature/color pairs are orange at 57°C (135°F), red at 68°C (155°F), yellow at 79°C (175°F), green at 93°C (200°F), blue at 141°C (286°F), and mauve/purple at 182°C (360°F). Use the model markings and technical data when specifying the temperature.
Connection and installation: R1/2 or R3/4 BSPT and 1/2 in NPT configurations are connection options, not interchangeable threads. Match the selected connection to the system fitting. Any sidewall configuration requires its own model data and installation orientation.
Cover plate and finish: Select the matching plate, release rating, finish, and adjustment range with the sprinkler. Use the specified factory-finished components; plate removal, inspection, and replacement should follow the instructions for the assembly.
