These waterproof firefighting boots fill the gap where conventional fire boots cannot perform, delivering lightweight protection with long-term reliability. Made from a flame-retardant PVC and dielectric rubber compound, the boots combine chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and comfortable wear in one professional-grade design.
The Poseidon PVC Firefighter Rain Boots are built for demanding rescue and firefighting operations involving water, chemicals, or potential electric exposure. Their one-piece injection-molded structure eliminates stitched seams and adhesives, ensuring total impermeability and preventing leaks even under continuous exposure.
Constructed from flame-retardant PVC blended with insulating rubber, these boots resist acids, alkalis, oils, and hydrocarbons. Reinforced with a steel toe cap and steel midsole rated ≥1830 N (≈411 lbf) per EN ISO 20344, they offer reliable impact and puncture protection in hazardous terrain.
The boots feature a pure cotton lining that wicks moisture and maintains breathability for extended comfort. Despite their rugged build, each pair weighs only 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) with a 15-inch (38 cm) shaft for full lower-leg coverage and agility.
Slip resistance is enhanced through a low-abrasion outsole with a coefficient of friction ≥ 0.32 on wet surfaces (tested per EN ISO 13287). For electrical protection, each pair demonstrates ≤ 3 mA leakage current at 5 kV, meeting EN 50321-1 dielectric footwear test parameters. Optional upgrades include Kevlar reinforcement, Vibram outsoles, and thermal insulation layers, providing custom solutions for both firefighting and industrial safety applications.
